is not functioning. replace Hall sensor, if that doesn't fix it make surer the drum turns freely. the rotor never goes bad, and the stator almost never goes bad. replace board if sensor doesn't fix it

rotor off of spline. Look at the stator with the windings. At the bottom of the stator where the harness plugs in is the hall sensor. Remove the 10 mm bolts holding the stator on and don't let it drop
