WHEN YOU JUMP STARTED BATTERY THE FROM OTHER BATTERY
IT WILL NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY GOES DIED .
DOES WIRING HARNRES NEED TO BE REPLACE???
WHATS THE PROBLEM????????????
Sounds like time for a new battery. A battery is only good for about two years. Then it starts to loose it's charge quickly and then it will not take a charge. Check the water level in each cell. The water should cover the top of the plates in each cell. No water = no charge. Install a new battery and start the engine. Put a volt Ohmmeter on the terminals as the bike revs to around 2500 rpm. The meter should show 14+ volts. If only 12 or less, the charging system should be checked.
I forgot to give you a source for parts that may help you.
Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part and/or the notation "Not Available" is in the description, the part is not in stock. www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrandand/parts.aspxI forgot to give you a source for parts that may help you. no year, or what honda, 1973 civic with radioshack alarm,?
bad batteries, will cause all electronics to go nuts
it like humans not drinking water for a week. death.
get a good battery or charge yours up to 12.6vdc resetted
then reset the alarm. depends on , unsaid car..... above.
If it started with a jump, the battery either needs a charge or is bad.
I assume it started with the jump, but when disconnected, it died again. If so, this means it is also not charging which likely means a new alternator.
You can take the battery and alternator to the local parts store for testing (you may need both).
this is an anti theft problem because your battery went below 10 volts.try charging battery up to proper levels and reconnecting to vehicle should be fine.
the wire will go from the post on the alternator the one with the nut to the hot post on the starter then another cable will go from the starter on the same post to the positive on the battery. however if the car died tells me something else is not right because the vehicle doesnt run off of the battery it is merely to start it then the alternator feeds the power while running. you should be able to remove the battery while running and should still keep running
Initial checks would be for the main fusible link inside the starter magnetic switch. Thereafter, check for the presence / absence of +12 on all the fuses box, main connector, battery + terminal and ignition switch.
A wiring diagram of the Honda CBX750F would be of help as reference. Should you be interested, a copy maybe found here.
Hi, Your problem lies with the starter solenoid, although you maybe using a fully charged battery to jump it, it appears to be sticking or possibly faulty due to trying to start with poor battery.
The starter solenoid is usually located on or near the Battery compartment, it is cylindrical and has two heavy wires attached to it 1 goes to the starter motor the other to the battery. If you are carefull you can by pass the solenoid by touching the heavy wire going to the starter motor with the jumper lead. Make sure the jump battery is connected and both the NEGATIVE leads are well secure. Put the NEGATIVE lead from jump cable direct to a engine mount bolt or engine itself Not the battery.
