SOURCE: hazard and turn signal

Under the dash is a flasher unit. Replace it and everything should start working again. The flasher unit is very inexpensive and available at most parts stores.

Left turn signal goes off right turn flashes fast when I turn on head light on 2004 Chevy express 1500

Do you know what a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter is ? How to use wiring diagrams to test electrical circuits with DVOM? Do you know how the turn signals work ? What controls them ? More then likely it's a problem with turn/hazard flasher module.

Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps
The IGN E 10 A fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal switch assembly. Ground for the hazard switch is from G302. The FLASHER 15 A fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the turn/hazard flasher module. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, a voltage signal is completed from the turn signal switch to the turn/hazard flasher module. When the hazard flasher switch is activated, a ground signal is completed from the hazard switch to the turn/hazard flasher module. The turn/hazard flasher module then sends an on-off voltage signal to the appropriate turn signal lamps, or to all turn signal lamps for hazard operation through these fuses:

I have a 1987 chevy deluxe r10 dont have any turn signal I have head light brake lights park light an hazard lights but no right turn signal nor left turn signal I have check all fuses and put a new signal...

I think you might have a separate flasher for the turn signals under the dash. The turn and hazard flasher would look alike. Turn you hazards on and find the flasher for it under the dash. You will probably be able to feel it working and hear it clicking. The other flasher under the dash is for the turn signals. Try replacing that one. I think it was in later years they began to combine the two into a single composite flasher.

The signal lights or emergency lights do light up when turning on!!!

Without knowing the year/make/model, and without an owners manual, I can't really tell you which fuse. Check in your owners manual to see which fuse is for your 4-ways/hazard lights and turn signals. If you don't have the owners manual, check inside the cover of the fuse boxes as many cars will list what fuse is for what feature

Signal and hazard lights dont turn on

Look Behind The Clock On The Dash, Take That Out and There Should Be Two Connectors One Is For The Hazards And Signals And the other The Clock If They Are Not Connected The Hazards And Signals Wont Work. You Will Need A Flat Head To Take The Clock Out. Hope That Helps.

The turn signals only work when holding the signal at a certain position. The Hazard lights never work. Also the back-light on the dash do not come on with the head lights anymore.

the turn signal switch that is in the steering colum needs replacing it is worn out the dash lights are controled by the head light switch by turning the knob to the right or left there is also a fuse that is marked instr on the fuse box this is for the dash lights

Turn signals dont work headlights dont dim heater fan doesnt work

Did all these problems happen all at one time?? If so you may have a bad body ground. Try running a electrical wire from the (-) negative side of the battery to the body and see if this works. Be sure this wire is to a place with no paint as low voltage electricity will not flow through paint.
A). If not try replacing the turn signal flasher for the turn signal problem. This is usually the culprit and it's easiest and cheapest to replace. The turn signal flasher will be found under the driver side dash next to the hazard flasher. Turn the hazard flasher one to locate it. If you want try swapping the turn signal flasher with the hazard flasher to see if this fixes it. They are the same style flasher.
If this doesn't work you may a faulty turn signal switch or some wiring issues.
B). It could as simple as the head lights bulbs need to be replaced, it's rare but I have seen when both bulbs blew at or near the same time. If your able check the voltage at the head sockets.
C). Could be a bad blower motor or switch. I'm not sure if these models have a resistor block or not. The resister block controls the electrical current going to blower motor which controls the speed of the blower fan.
