Yes! It could be a fuse problem. There are two fuses you need to check. A 15 amp fuse in the engine fuse control box under the hood, and a 7.5 amp fuse in the instrument panel fuse control box under the dash. Make sure both of these fuses are good!

Is there a fuse or someting for the CD plyer or radio? My CD player wont work.

there is a fuse in fuse box that powers radio...sounds like a problem with radio itself....if fuse was bad it simply would do nothing"no power at all.

Installed a new battery and suddenly my cd player reads "error" when I insert a cd. Could this be a fuse or something? Anything I can try to fix it? I think it's part of the theft deterrent sys

usually a blown fuse will shutdown your radio until u get a new fuse so im not thinking fuse.... is the laser that reads cds is that clean???? if unsure they make cds with brushes on the bottom of them and as u put them in it brushes off that laser as the cd with brushes spins. or even simpler just try blowing out the inside maybe its just dirty or a cheap radio. cheap radios cause a lot of problems.... hope i helped....... My radio/CD player constantly says "ERR" and CD's won't play anymore. It doesn't show the time or the radio station either, just "ERR". I can hear it, like it's trying...

HI lisasmith566 IT is not a fuse problem .
the problem is your the CD part of the radio
must likely the cd is stock or more likely the cd drive motor is defective .
FIRST try pushing eject on radio and see CD comes out if not you need a new radio .

CD stuck in CD player and won't eject.

Disconnect the fuse for the radio. This is cause the radio to reboot. You do not need to mess with the battery. After replacing the fuse, or removing, it, and putting it back in, you can proceed to try to remove the CD. I used a pair of tweezers.I actually jammed two CDs into the player. Hope this helps.

03 vibe cd player will not respond

I blew a fuse controlling the radio, charging system, turn signals, heater fan, ,etc..this ran down my battery.

When I replaced the fuse, the CD player would not respond, but the radio worked.

I disconnected the battery for over 30 seconds, hooked it back up, and the time reset on the radio to 12:00 and the CD player works again.
