INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (IAT) is normally located at the engine air filter housing for old models but i think yours its incorporated with the mass air flow unit (assembly). Thats the sensor after the air filter

I need to locate IAT sensor four my 2009 ford

The IAT is integrated with the MAF sensor on the 09 Fusion. The MAF is located near the air box on all three engines. on the driver's side, and will be held to some part of the intake tubing by 2 torx screws. http://media.photobucket.com/image/2009%20Fusion%20MAF/itsamecameron/fusion4cylengineMAF.jpg 2.3L shown, 3.0 and 3.5 should be similar.

Can anyone tell me where my iat is located on my 2009 impreza. I know where the maf is but the chip I want to install needs to be installed on the iat sensor.

BE CAREFUL.... If the part you are installing is the .19 Cent diode you should really understand what it does and if it was really that good an idea, don't you think Subaru would have done it at the factory. There are alot of Ebayers that are making a killing off of selling the .19 cent diode and a piece of paper with directions for about $5 a pop.
