I believe a 96-98 harness from any chevy or gmc would work. V8 to V8 not V6 to V8 the 305 and 350 would be the same harness

You need to have someone with a GM factory tech2 scanner go into the computer an change tire size .

If its a 1994 you need to install a performance chip in the computer to eliminate the speed limiter.

No, they use the same computer. But the prom chips in the computer are different. It will run fine on the 4.3 chip but it will run better with the V8 chip. After you switch it, I would order a performance V8 chip for it.

havent a clue on this one ,never seen a GMC sierra ,but i could tell you on a ford sierra .-sorry a totally useless reply ,only a suggestion but call the shop where you bought it they should know

good luck should be able to swap shaft but what about the switches inside the trans let me know how it goes
