SOURCE: replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

OK. On the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, pull up hard, both sides. This will dislodge the 2 clamps that holds the seat cushion to the floor. Pull the seat cushion out & set it aside. You will now see the female latches bolted to the area where the rear of the seat cushion meets the rear seat back bottom. Remove the bolts (14 mm I think).

SOURCE: 99 Toyota Camry one of the rear seat belts won't retract

You have to actually unbolt the belt holder behind the seat. Then from there you can check to see if the spring still works. You'll probably have to take the cap off it, wind the spring-load, then put the cap back on. If you can get to it, it's not too difficult. I recommend another pair of hands to help hold if they're available. You'll also want to make sure you've rolled the belt up as much as possible before before you coil the spring-load.

How do u remove the rear seat on 1196 honda accord?

The rear seat is four (4) pieces.
You will need two tools a 6mm and 8mm wrenches.
1.) Unbuckle the rear seat belts. 2.) Locate the bolt in the center part of the rear seat, between the cushion and the seat-back. Remove the bolt with a 6 mm socket wrench. 3.) Push down firmly on the front edge of the rear seat cushion and pull it toward you to unhook and remove the rear seat cushion. Push the seat belt stalks through the center holes and lift the cushion out of the Accord. 4.) Pull the lever on the side of the rear seat bolster to lower the rear seat-back, which must be in the down position to access its bolts. 5.) Slide the center seat belt toward the passenger side of the vehicle. Move the loop over the edge of the seat-back to prevent it from hindering removal. 6.) Remove the three bolts from the bottom edge of the rear seat-back, using an 8 mm socket wrench. One bolt is in the center; the other two bolts are on either side. 7.) Pull the rear seat-back out of the Accord. The remaining sections of the seat should be the two side bolsters. 8.) Remove the bolts from the bottom of the side bolsters with a 6 mm socket wrench. Push firmly against the first side bolster. Push it upward to slide it out of its mount. Repeat the process on the bolster on the other side to finish removing the Accord's rear seat.

This should take approximately 15-30 minutes depending hoe mechanically inclined a person is.

How to get passenger door open on 2006 chevy cobalt with seat belt stuck in door?

This is going to sound a little odd, but properly jack the car and then try opening this door. Put the jack in the recommended jacking spot on the passenger side.

Imagine that the back and front ends of the car are compressing the center of the car. By lifting one end or the other, the center may shift. Otherwise you do not have a frame, but the engine cradle may have a support located closer to the center of the vehicle. Do not jack the sheet metal, but you may catch the cradle and apply lift there.

You may notice by putting in a piece of cardboard in the doorjam on whether there is an increasing gap as you jack the car.

How to remove the rear seat of a Honda Ridgeline 2010.

1. Pull the plastic panels under the seat bottom straight forward to remove them.

2. Remove the six bolts (14mm) holding the seat and center seatbelt in place.

3. Pop the two small plastic covers at the top and behind the seat using a trim removal tool or screwdriver tip covered in masking tape.

4. Lift the seat straight upward.

5. Remove.

The Service Manual states a 35 ft lb torque and must be re-installed in a certain sequence for the 6 seat anchor bolts (not the seat belt bolts). When putting the rear seat back in install the bolts in this order. (1) center left (2) center right (3) left lower (4) right lower (5) left upper (6) right upper.

How do you get a seat belt unstuck that has been pulled all the way out

If you will grab the belt and sharply pull very hard it will release. All it takes is for the belt to move lightly for it to retract. I have never seen this not work if you pull hard and sharp enough.

The seat belt on the driver's side of my '98 Chevy Cavalier is stuck in the door position and won't pull out (it is a manual seat belt). How do I get it unstuck?

Usually when they get stuck you can`t get them unstuck unless they are just twisted.seat belts are not repairable.Your best bet is to go to the salvage yard and get a used one and replace it.
