I had my radio changed to a not OEM radio. It worked till my battery died and now radio not working with new battery How do you code this?
This is normal behavior for a radio which has been disconnected from all power. In the documentation which came with your new radio there should be a PIN number and a procedure to enter it.
Wandm mmy friend it would be a major help if you could tell me the make and model of your radio. I will say this, most aftermarket radios have a 3 shot counter. What that means is after 3tmes youll have to let it sit with the key on(acc) for usually. 2to3hours before it will accept anymore attemps.

Ok, first (I know it sounds stupid) were the battery terminals put on correctly? positive to positive.. If so, then check your fuses BOth under the hood and inside the car. Check to see if any other devices are supposed to be connected to the positive lead of the battery or any loose non connected electrical wires by your battery. You might have a relay that went out or a short between your battery (and/or battery cable) and your "firewall".
