SOURCE: location of a o2 sensor 2001 nissan maxima

bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that #1 cylinder is on , and sensor 2 refers to downstream , after the catalytic converter. , this link shows bank 1 on a 2001 nissan maxima V6 being on the firewall side . if you had a 4 cylinder it would be downstream after the catalytic converter .

Primary ignition fault. Reasons: Bad distributor cap (most likely) or ignition control module/ignition coil.

If the ac fan is not coming on the ac is inop. the compressor is bypassed. Check fuses and relays first.

SOURCE: location of drl module 2001 chevy s10

The drl module is part of the body control module,(bcm) located under the dash on the heater box. The drl relay is in one of 2 places. In the
fuse/relay block on the left fender. Or taped to the body harness near
the hose for the rear washer. The rear washer hose comes out of the
bottom of the front washer bucket to the firewall. Hope this helps.

Did you find the prolbem? Im having the exact same problem you have. Mine is doing it after it died and I replaced the starter but now it wont start and the fuse eng cont 1 keeps getting burned out instantly

Jeep does make EXPORT cars. so where are you,?
and light system very by countries laws, big time.

For info on 2001 Nissan maxima headlight control Module? Is that correct name for part?
Hi there:
I suggest to check grounw wires and connections, this is usually caused by a faulty solder joint in the DRL (Day Runing Light) Control Unit which will cause this issue. You need to check the DRL control unit next.


The DRL module is located on the passenger side behind the headlamp.

Just purchased a used 2010 maxima. I need daytime running lights t.o make the car legal in Canada . Someone told me the car should be equipped with them, they just need to be activated. Is this right or...
The cars manufactured for sale in Canada have the drl's. Most cars mfg'd in Canada for sale in the USA have drl's. The Maxima's that do not have drl's from the factory are wired differently. Even though the fuse box may have a fuse labeled for drl, the wiring is not there. Therefore the drl can not be "activated" as some think. A few dealerships are rewiring the low beam headlights to stay on with the ignition. This apparently is a cheap and legal way around the drl's. You can purchase a drl kit that includes a relay and wiring instructions to activate the high beam lights at reduced voltage for true drl's. The kit is cheap and simple to install. Hope this was of some help.

Right side head light is not working , I change the bulb thinking it was not good .I also check the fuse and it is good .the high beam is working just the low beam is not working..
Hi,

You may need to check the wiring or the 3 terminal connector with special attention to the wire/connector of the low beam. In certain instances, it maybe simpler to hard wire another wire from the left's low beam and extend it to the right. As to the connector, you may need to scrape off any burn marks or corrosion.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
