Did you find the prolbem? Im having the exact same problem you have. Mine is doing it after it died and I replaced the starter but now it wont start and the fuse eng cont 1 keeps getting burned out instantly

we ended up using a small piece of wire to jump the connection at the fuse's location that was blowing. had someone turn the key while another was under the hood watching. sounds crazy i know but we found that doing that narrowed down a couple of bad wires. they started smoking! turn the key off quick! think you might could fry it if you don't. cut the bad spot out, then replaced it with more wire. the guy that figured it out for us was willing to replace the computer if it fried it so think about that possibility before you try it.

Why does my engine control fuse 15amp keeps blowing every time I crank my car? I've checked my starter and my alternator and my ecu I'm stuck need help

USA spec. car?

sad face sigh.
2.5L calif car or fed car not told and are DIFFERENT as is Export.
i will answer now (tossing dice) land on FED car schematics.
service manual answered
22 pages on PCM. schematics. ouch
fuse f42 and F43 is 15amp, and runs cpu in IPDM
fuse f32 is fuel pump see how tell fuse ID tells what is shorted?
all above are IPDM fuse box fuses, under hood
f43 is throttle control valve too. twb motor drive.
f42 runs ECM/PCM and lots of things.

F53 is fog lamps.
my wild guess F42 blows. and runs ecm relay to here.

to find the short one must disconnect all loads to fuse the blows

to find which device is shorted.
use only 15amp fuses, not larger ever. here.

2001 Nissan Pathfinder. I need a wiring diagram for the fuse box under the hood please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to sub category.

ECCS stands for Electronic Concentrated Control System, and this is a known issue.

If fuses 'keep blowing', you need to find the reason why power is shorting to earth. In my view, you will need an auto-electrician.

My brake and battery lights are both on my 2008 nissan maxima will go faster than 40 mph, what is wrong?

Battery light on may mean alternator is not charging, thus engine is running off only battery power = weak spark and bad curent to ECM. Fix battery issues and should run better. Brake light separate issue I think.

Eng cont1 fuse

fuses blow because of excess current draw. check for a short after the fuse . wire touching the earth or body / engine or melted on the exhaust

2002 Nissan Maxima SE - Air condition not blowing cold air

simply "adding a can"is a good way to end up with non-functional A/C. the typical system has high/low pressure switches that enable/disable the system. you need to be at the correct volume of refrigerant as specified on the sticker under the hood. i recommend using the proper equipment, evacuating, pulling a vacuum, and then refilling the system with the appropriate amount.
