Could be a tie rod end or ball joint or other suspension component.
I would get two estimates for repairs.

End front shaking

I would remove one end of the steering stabilizer (if you have one) which looks like a shock absorber laying sideways attached to the steering linkage and pull and push on it.It should be stiff to move.
Also have the tires dynamically balanced on a motorized name brand wheel balancer.Next have the front end alignment checked with the normal load you carry in it.Not enough caster in the alignment can cause a shake/wobble easily.

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. There is a "violent" vibration that occurs only when you are going 40-60 MPH and you hit a bump or pot hole on the highway. The front end begins to...

Vibration from about 40-60 mph is usually attributed to wheel balancing, but the onset when you hit a bump seems to indicate play in the steering linkages (tie rods etc) or suspension members and stabiliser bar rubbers but you had that all checked out, that brings us back to the wheel balancing.

Front wheels shake when I hit a bump in road

Pitman arm and tie rod ends and bail joints. The three main causes of front end shake after hitting a bump. There's so much slop that when you hit a bump it shakes violently from one end of the slop to the other.Very dangerous! You need to get this fixed now!
Get someone to turn the steering wheel while holding onto a front wheel and just watch for stuff that moves.Turn left and right and you'll see what's the worst for wear. The connections at the steering box arm(Pitman) and at the wheels(Tie rods) will be what moves the worst.Hope this helps?Autozone has a kit for the pitman for $100,probably be $600 at a shop.

My feont wheels shake somrtimes when i hit a bump

Hi Tony,

There is a problem with either the the wheel integrity, the steering linkage or all the above.

This is a dangerous and potentially life threatening situation.

As someone who has lived through a ball joint breaking off of it's connecting rod, I can tell you first hand that a steering wheel that doesn't steer is no fun at highway speeds.

Please have your vehicle looked at by a pro.
If you drive it, drive it slow, but drive it to a mechanic.

Wheels shake terribly on 95 jeep laredo when I hit a bump over 50

Get front end checked out a.s.a.p. as this could be a part ready to go, and steering could go with it. Steering link, tie rod end, idler arm all come to mind. Personally I wouldn't drive it too far if at all, and not at a high speed until I'm sure what it is.
