Get front end checked out a.s.a.p. as this could be a part ready to go, and steering could go with it. Steering link, tie rod end, idler arm all come to mind. Personally I wouldn't drive it too far if at all, and not at a high speed until I'm sure what it is.

You need ball joints maybe. you may have a loose axle nut maybe. you may have a loose tire maybe, your alignment may be way off.

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. There is a "violent" vibration that occurs only when you are going 40-60 MPH and you hit a bump or pot hole on the highway. The front end begins to...

Vibration from about 40-60 mph is usually attributed to wheel balancing, but the onset when you hit a bump seems to indicate play in the steering linkages (tie rods etc) or suspension members and stabiliser bar rubbers but you had that all checked out, that brings us back to the wheel balancing.

2000 jeep gc laredo 4x4 4.7 auto The front end shakes

if it shakes over 50 miles per hour, it could be your front tires need balancing. and check your ball joints while you are at it. or king pins if it has that. (they are different from ball joints but serve the same purpose.)

95 jeep grand cherokee has a bad shake when u hit a bump at speeds over 50

Have your front end checked,I believe you have small u-joints in your front axles and they go bad.I dont believe they can be greased.

Vehicle hakes when driving 45 to 50 miles per hour

Check wheel balance,
check steering linkages for loosness - such as tie rod ends, steering rack linkages etc,
check driveline for worn/loose joints and bearings.

97' jeep cherokee laredo shakes when driving

Could be a number of things from ball joints to your pitman arm(arm that steers the tires). It dont sound like tire are way out of balance because yu said it only starts when you hit a bump. If it was me, Id crawl under the front end and start shaking different parts until I figured out what was loose. if its shaking that bad you should definitly be able to tell when you shake it.

1995 jeep grand cherokee laredo. Gets the death wobbles when going 50 or faster and hit a bump. Have to hit the brakes to make it stop.

Front shocks/struts may be shot...not dampening the blows from the street.
Also...very important... wheel balancing. Wheels that are out of balance will start bouncing like this too.
Also check alignment if it's only when you hit a chuck hole.

I had the same problem and it was a small shock sitting horizontally called the steering stabalizer your something close to that. Eazy fix.
