There are 2 PDF documents (above the photo) to look up. The first - Routing Guide - gives you the diagram code for the vehicle - 6 cylinder engines . See page 14 for the 2006 Chev Impala. Diagram code 9-15.

Diagram 9-15 can be found in the second PDF - the iIlustration Guide.

Diagram 4-3 is for the 2.4 litre engine sunfire only.
I expect you have the 2.2 litre motor. As you can see from the additional web site reference below, 6-27 is for the 2.2 engine without air conditioning and diagram 7-14 is for the 2.2 engine WITH aircon fitted (7 pulleys)

look in engine compartment, there should be a diagram 

There should be a decal on the bottom side of your hood, or somewhere in the engine compartment. If there isn't just put it on the crankshaft (bottom pulley) and go ribs to ribs, and flats to flats, and work your way around.
