What are the three wires on the back of the
It depends on which system you have. In both cases, there is a black and yellow wire that goes to the fuse box and a 15 amp fuse. This wire provides stator current to run the alternator. There is also a yellow and white wire that goes to the fuse box that provides the charge current to the battery. Now depending on the system, there may be only one additional wire (light green/red) to the instrument panel battery light or there are 2 wires (brown/white and grey/orange) that go to the PCM. In the latter case, the PCM monitors the charge current and then turns on the instrument panel light when the charge current is insufficient. In the former case, the alternator has circuitry to determine when the batter light should turn on. OK? Is there a problem we can help you with?
What causes left front squeak?
There are a few areas that can squeak a bit after being cleaned and usually a can of WD40 will cure the problem. It's important not to lubricate the braking system, it shouldn't be squeaking as a result of turning the steering wheel. The top of the struts, strut mounts, the tie rod ends and ball joints can all be lightly sprayed to stop the noise. Spray a few things and check again, repeat until it's smooth and quiet.
Where is bank1 and bank 2 on a ford escape v6
Bank 1 is located right after the catalytic converter, and it hosts cylinder numbers 1 - 3 - 5 - 9, whereas Bank 2 is on the other side, and it holds cylinder numbers 2 - 4 - 6 - 8.
I have a 2002 ford escape i have replaced coils plugs injectors cat and have good compression am getting fire need to know what color the wires are for injector 6 still missfire
The easiest way to test if the wires to #6 are sending the signal to the injector is to get a noid light and plug it into the harness at the injector providing there is room to access the injector from the injector.
Often times, the positive voltage feeds all the injectors, while the PCM applies ground to each individual injector.
You will need to test continuity from the #6 injector to the PCM with an Ohm test providing you have 12 volts at the injector. The ground opens and shuts once with each intake cycle to provide a fuel charge, so it will blink rapidly. That is normal. If the noid light does not come on but you confirmed 12 volts positive, but no ground then you have an open between the injector and the PCM. If the noid light comes on but does not flash or flicker, then there's either a short to ground in the wire from the injector to the PCM, or a faulty driver within the PCM itself causing an internal short.
