6 cd changer mustang stereo

I have the same problem with my CD player in my Mustang. It says error and I am not able to eject any of the CD's in the unit, however the radio does work. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have the same problems. It happens once a year or so and I usually wait it out. The longest was one month and it just magically starts working again. But this time is different -- it has a brand new CD (the new AC/DC one that I bought the same day it happend; the first time it happened was on a brand new CD as well so maybe it's something to do with that??) and the CD is in there but the CD player doesn't accept that it's in there. It let me get all my other CD's out but since it doesn't think there's a CD in slot 2 it won't let me eject slot 2. My other advice is that you'll be able to recognize the noise in the future -- get all your other CD's out immediately. So how did she get the face off and get into it? I have had my 2005 Explorer for 2 1/2 years. Without warning, today the 6 CD changer suddently will not load CD's. When I press the "Load" button, it tells me to select which CD slot to load.
