Bottom side (black on mine) has a finger grove section that comes off with a small flat blade screw driver used to pry up, 4 tabs, one on each corner (Exposes 2 screws). Need a sauder (spelling not my thing) gun to remove and batteries are 2 ea 1.2 v (looks between AA & AAA size). I'm just going to just buy another unit. Good luck!

i need a wahl replacement charger PCC as well!!! if anyone knows how to get on let me know because Wahl No Longer sells the clippers so they don't sell the charger now! that sucks wahl !! they should be able to sell you the charger when the charger goes bad like mine did ! it had a short in it and i accidently threw it away!!! now i don't know how to find a replacement charger?thanks

Hi I have been a hair stylist for 25 years each guard that clips on has a number on them the lower the number the more hair is clipper off start big like a number 8 will leave one inch of hair 7 leaves 7/8 of a inch 6 leaves 3/4 of a inch 5 leaves 5/8 of a inch 4 leaves a 1/2 inch of hair on the head 3 leaves 3/8 of a inch 2 leaves 1/4 of a inch and a 1 is just hair on the Scalp almost bald no days the color of guards are changing so your best bet is go with the size remember to start with the largest one first then you will know what you like the best and you can't go wrong and if you buy WAHL and you not A Hair Stylist You Can Purchase A Good Clipper at Sallys Good Luck

difficult to answer as north is relative to where you are basically in battery installations the + terminal has a flat strip and the - is a spring it there is a terminal pad such as goes on square 9 volt batteries the red wire is the + terminal other than that go on line and type in battery installation for whal rechargable battery for clippers.

Push the blade teeth away from the trimmer body, it will just click off. Undo two screws behind blade, undo one screw at rear of trimmer from the bottom. That's it cases will now split apart.

The covers are very tight if it is the one in the photo. Push in on the black cover and slid it towards the bottom. I think the clip that is giving you the problem is at the top end of that black cover.

Blades on the trimmer are worn, or it may simply need a few drops of oil at the cutting blade.

Have you been to www.wahl.com and tried to locate a distributor in your unknown to us country?

Push the teeth away from the housing and the blade will click off. The new one will just click back on. Suck out the opening with a vacuum cleaner, The new blade will come pre-lubricated in the driving slot but the blade will need periodic oiling. You need to remove the blade to properly lubricate the back edge of the blade.

What model and what did you do to it to create the noisy condition?
