The product I have is actually the PVS1977g.

The laser could be out of alignment due to some sort of shock. The laser itself could be defective. The wheel might not be spinning fast enough.

Wireless headphones

If you're handy, you could rig up a wireless solution to this. The problem is that you have two screens, each presumably playing a different movie. If you purchased an off-the-shelf wireless transmitter accessory, you could connect it to one of the screens. But then if you purchased a second wireless transmitter accessory, and connected it to another screen, you would need to make sure both wireless transmitters were operating on different frequencies, so that each person could wear a different pair of headphones and listen to their own movie. Hopefully this makes sense. You could use either an FM Modulator to do this, or an Infrared Audio (IR) transmitter... Remember, these units aren't like factory installed headrest systems; they don't have the wireless audio transmitter already built-in, so you can't just buy wireless headphones and listen to them.

The plastic hinge is broken. can it be fixed?

John, Venturer KLV39150 15" Under Cabinet LCD TV with Built-In DVD Player & Radio parts do not seem available(discontinued item) Try 2 part epoxy and use a plastic backer to rejoin broken plastic, if possible. press the helpful button and follow me on fixya for more tips

My portable dvd player will not read the discs. it keeps saying no disc. the door is shut all the way and the disc spins. Plus, the disc is brand new.

The lazer is shot in it,It is not reading the info off the disc anymore, Verry costly to have it repaired,
