Yes you can. Final Cut Pro supports almost all types of video format.

This can be caused by several problems including a defective eject switch in the cameras internal circuitry or a bad motor. This will require disassembling the camera to repair and can usually be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be repaired qualified service technician.

Fixya makes me laugh sometimes. I've been a camcorder tech for 25 years. There are two movable lenses inside the lens assembly in your particular. Both are motorized, the zoom and focus lenses. What has happened is that the focus lens cannot move. If you are handy and very careful, you can take the camcorder apart and fix it. Label your screws, there are different thread types and legnths. Inspect where the optical unit plugs into the main board. Make sure it's plugged in fully and neither connector is partly torn from it's board. If that is OK, remove the optical assembly -there are two screws that attach it to the main board. Inspect the ribbon cable that wraps around the optical assembly for tears or other damage - particularly where it runs to the focus motor. If all is ok remove the focus motor VERY CAREFULLY so as not to damage the ribbon and look inside the lens assembly. You will see a little spring loaded plastic arm that runs back and forth on the worm shaft of the motor you removed. It is likely popped askew or off the lens bracket. You need to use a very small screwdriver or dental pick to pop it back into its correct position. Make sure the lens can move forward and back freely through it's range of motion. Reassemble everything, being careful to fit the little arm onto the worm shaft of the motor. That should fix you up!

Try pulling the battery out and putting it back in then charging it. If that doesn't help anything sounds like you have a battery that needs to be replaced.

I believe I already answered this question once ..and like I said the trick is to select in the cam,era when it appears the mass storage under the usb connect (pc connect ) ..and after that it will apear as a removable storage device into my computer folder and would be able to be copied from there ..Actually if there is a memory card in the camera it will also appear on the my computer folder..
if you see the videos into the camera ..but when you open the removable storage into the computer they do not appear..you might need some codecs for the format you shoot them into ..(mpeg 2 probably ..) or ..you selected to store on the memory card ..and you open he hdd or the other way around ..
Also install the driver for it ..from the support site ..here is the link ..
(it may not be visible without a driver..) It is not necessary to use the program they shipped on disk ...but it is worth trying also ...Open it ,, and if it has a feature for import from device ..engage it and select the camera...pay attention on the case which enable the automatic delete of the files after download..if you want to keep the files..

Its possible that you need re-install the software / driver to test if your pc read your device like a external drive. Verified the cable connections at/from camera to usb ports.

Are you check and try some update firmware in the Samsung site?

Try cleaning the video heads, this is a indication that the video heads may be clogged and needs cleaning, If you have not kept the heads clean during use, or for extended amount of time, you may need a professional cleaning, try a tape cleaning cartridge first if this does not unclog the heads then take it in for service.

Apparently not... been looking for it myself for years.... Im thinking of buying an external dvd/cd drive to read the mini dvds and then transfer them to my macbook.... thats the only think I can think of now.
Seriously Samsung.... a camcorder that is not compatible with mac??? come on!

Check the battery of your Digicam.Try to replace battery.

The SC-D103 doesn't take SD cards. It takes Sony Memory Sticks and compatibles from third-party manufacturers such as Lexar and Sandisk. Be careful, it will not take Memory Stick PROs.

From what I have read, the Samsung SC-X300L only supports memory cards up to 4gb. I also tried an 8gb card, with no luck.
