Can you give Motrin and robitussin together?

Your best bet is to ask your physician or pharmacist. If Robitussin contains the same active ingredient as Motrin, the answer is most likely NO, because it will be too easy to overdose. Otherwise, I don't know if there will be any interaction between the two drugs. Sometimes a combination will cause problems for certain individuals but not others. Again, ask a professional.

It blows air, but no moisture comes out or is used

You need to add salt. I'm not sure if table salt or some other salt is best, but it requires that addition to create noticeable mist. I use probably 1 tsp.

Maybe you can answer my question. What is the model number? I've been searching for and have found replacement filters, but I'm not sure which ones to buy. Please let me know at [email protected]

I can't get my humidifier to get the humidity to get over 17% and the dial is set at 30% it goes to 20% and flashes

Without brand and model, my advice is definitely a shot in the dark. Only your manual or your manufacturer's site can inform you of what the flashing means. Here are some tips that might help you increase the humidity in your room: Check the humidifier's water level: Make sure that the humidifier has enough water to function properly. If the water level is low, the humidifier may not be able to produce enough moisture to increase the humidity in the room. Clean the humidifier: Over time, mineral deposits and bacteria can build up in the humidifier, which can affect its performance. Clean the humidifier regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Place the humidifier in the right location: Place the humidifier in a central location in the room, away from walls and other obstructions. This will help the humidifier distribute moisture evenly throughout the room. Use a humidistat: A humidistat is a device that measures the humidity in the room and automatically adjusts the humidifier's output to maintain a desired humidity level. If your humidifier does not have a built-in humidistat, you can purchase a separate one and use it to control the humidity level in the room.

HumiHumidifier was running. because water level was level I filled as usual. now it doesn't run.that's the problem.Pleas help

There could be several reasons why a humidifier stops running after refilling it with water. One of the most common reasons is that the humidifier's float switch is stuck in the "low water" position, which prevents the humidifier from turning on even after refilling it with water . Another reason could be that the humidifier's water level sensor is malfunctioning, which causes the humidifier to stop running even when there is enough water in the tank/ If you have a whole-house humidifier, it could be that the humidistat is set too low, which causes the humidifier to turn off even when there is enough water in the tank 1. Alternatively, if you have a portable humidifier, it could be that the unit's motor has burned out or that its fan has stopped working . To troubleshoot this issue, you can try cleaning the float switch or replacing the water level sensor if they are damaged. If you have a whole-house humidifier, you can try adjusting the humidistat to a higher setting. If you have a portable humidifier, you can try replacing its motor or fan

My fan turns on, my filter is saturated with water but no water is expelled where normally there would be a mist to humidify.

All question need full 'make model (what it is)' to answer efficiently. Some actually spay a mist of water, but the better one suck dry air in and blow moister air out through the saturated filter membrane. The ones that spray water mist damage furniture and anything near it. If it is the spray type, it needs descaling. You could Google make model manual Or list it under her by clicking Comment under _my_ answer. .

Contrary to the owner's manual, my Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409 appears to have four (4) fan settings: 1, 2, 3, and "A". Can anyone tell me what "A" setting does?

From what you've described, it seems that the "A" setting may be a special or additional mode of operation. It could be an "Auto" or "Adaptive" setting that adjusts the fan speed based on the humidity level in the room, or it could be a specific function designed for a certain type of room. I recommend checking the owner's manual or contacting the manufacturer directly to find out more information about the specific function of the "A" setting on your Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409.

Essick D46720 water overflows from water holding well

If the water overflows from the water holding well in your Essick D46720 humidifier, there could be a few possible reasons:
  1. Faulty Float Valve: The float valve regulates the water level in the holding well. If it gets stuck or fails to function properly, it can cause the water to overflow. You can try cleaning the float valve and make sure it moves freely.
  2. Clogged Water Inlet: Check the water inlet on the bottom of the humidifier. If it is clogged with mineral deposits or other debris, it can prevent the water from flowing into the holding well at the proper rate.
  3. Broken Water Tank: If the water tank is cracked or damaged, it can cause water to leak out of the holding well and overflow.
  4. Incorrect Water Level: If you are filling the humidifier beyond the recommended water level, it can cause the water to overflow.
To fix the issue, try the following steps:
  1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove the water tank and check for cracks or damages.
  3. Clean the float valve and make sure it moves freely.
  4. Check the water inlet for any clogs or debris.
  5. Make sure you are filling the humidifier with the correct amount of water, as recommended in the user manual.
  6. Plug in the humidifier and turn it on to see if the issue is resolved.
If the problem persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance or consider replacing the humidifier.
