Do you have Windows 10? As there may be an issue with screen rotation. However to check your settings:

1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
2. Click the Start menu and select Settings.
3. Click System.
4. Click Display.
5. Scroll down and check the status of Lock rotation of this display .

Keyboard no good. Just get a new one since you also have an intermittent situation that sooner or later will stop working permanently.

Try doing a system defragmentation, your programs may be so fragmented that loading time is impaired. Also clean up the hard drive by doing a Disk cleanup. Both of these tools are in the popup menu on the start page under the Accessories menu and then the System Tools menu.

Just had this problem myself. Go into your BIOS. make sure AHCI is disabled and Virtualization Technology is enabled. Then restart. This fixed it for me. Hope it does it for you.

Hey, I also got locked out of my computer several days ago. I tried several free software. It took me two days and got quite messy. Unfortunately none of them work for me. Download 'Lightshot'. You can now hit the 'Prt Sc' button and save your screenshot.

Most image software should be able to do that for you. I use FastStone Image Viewer which also lets you crop, rotate, resize pictures. It's freeware.

Go to the device manager and delete the device ... reboot. that should fix it.

Press firmly down with your thumb on the laptop base just above the F4 / F5 keys, if the display improves while doing this it is simply a loose connection which is common for tablet pc's. If this does not help, then it is either a short in the connection or worse case an issue with what is called the inverter. In any case this is an issue that requires opening up your laptop to fix. If you are not comfortable doing this sort of work call up your local computer repair shop, I recommend a personal business over a corporate one, as you will receive better customer service and more likely than not if it is a simple cable connection issue small businesses will take a few minutes out of their day to fix it on the spot and charge you far less.
