Hi,
please look for a button with a sun icon above it. Usually pressing that button and the using the corresponding arrows on the device should allow you to alter the brightness.
Thank you.
Tell what DVR this is , makers real name and real models.
vast exist, and no 2 are the same. for sure what you are asking , NOT THE SAME , cures.
post photo of yours.
post url to one on the web that is same as yours
or find the service tag label post those facts.
or read the manual on your DVR, and read the page factory reset if missing means you must call them.

if this is a CCTV system, that is a security system and if resetting the PW was easy ? it would render the system useless, (a toy grade CCTV) and is not.
that is why you must call them, not us as we are not them.
Try Reinstalling: Sometimes, software issues can be resolved by simply reinstalling the program. Try uninstalling the AOC i-menu software from your computer and then downloading and installing it again from the official AOC website.
Check Compatibility: Make sure that the version of the i-menu software you downloaded is compatible with your operating system. If you're using Windows 10, for example, ensure that you've downloaded the version of the software designed for Windows 10.
Update Drivers: Ensure that your monitor drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with software like i-menu. You can usually find driver updates on the AOC website or through your computer's device manager.
Contact Portrait Displays: Despite the difficulty in reaching them, continue trying to contact Portrait Displays through the link provided by AOC support. You can also try reaching out to them through their social media channels or any other contact information you can find online.
Check Community Forums: Sometimes, other users might have experienced similar issues with the i-menu software and found solutions on community forums or discussion boards. Try searching online for any threads related to your problem and see if there are any suggested fixes.
Alternative Solutions: While waiting for support, consider alternative software solutions for adjusting your monitor settings. There may be third-party software available that can provide similar functionality to i-menu.
It depends on the AOC monitor feauture, if it does have an HDMI port, you are good to go. you will be needing a micro usb to HDMI CABLE connect it from your mobile phone to your AOC monitor and select the input mode to HDMI. If your AOC have vga port instead of HDMI ,You'll be needing another type of cable called micro usb to vga. It is all available online for purchase.
AOC connected to WHAT,we can not guess what. ever.PC's,vast, NVR, DVR, and endless other things, worst of all x1000 , no OS told. not even a clue.all we can do is beg,
what kind of ports have , you should specify your monitor model is written behind ? in base of ports the monitor have , you can conect to vga dvi or hdmi using adaptors or directly .
pick tool/maintenance(EXTRA !) and click reset there.
99% of all monitors made do that. the same exact way.
dayton is that a hyjack or statement or question, can'/t tell here.
now I go to spoon fed mode,(no prob)
I will now read your manual to you, googled in seconds flat
24" model
page 17
push menu button
reset page 23 PDF page
clear as day in the manual to read at any time
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1698266/Aoc-24e1q.html?page=23#manual
there it is. , as seen on all monitors on earth only no 2 OSD look the same, but it is always there if you only locked or RTM
in the manual , no monitor model told , some of this mon the service tag is not on the rear but on bottom of stand, look see it.yah odd.
the reset is in the OSD menu's of 99% of all monitors
the button is called a menu button.
what he pulled does not matter at all. it causes no damage
the test for any monitor made is this
test on a known good PC. 2nd.
and the OSD test. learn this simple art.
no PC at all tests.
1: mon power button off
2: connect mon to AC power
3: power on the monitor
4: in under 15 seconds push the OSD menu button
See it does work , now push oSD reset selection (under tools?)
if fails repeat again 1 to 4.
some of these monitors have bug in firmware,
if you set OSD inputs to auto, it gets lost if all 4 video jacks are dead.
vga, dvi , hdmi and DP
a mon, can have 1 or more jacks, do not use auto input mode.
in OSD turn it off, in fact one manual even warns you
if this MON only has one JACK(VID) do not us AUTO inputs.
that is not a model, number it is serial number useless here.
the rear of the monitor or under bottom of stand
has a service TAG and discloses true models.
product name and product numbers
this tag is relic, old square screen. L22 (22") it is.
then learn to google using real model. #
the maker loves to not have manuals on their weak web site.
