I have a Bonaire Vulcan Comfort Control Aircon/Heating system. We have the heater set to manual and stick up the heat level in the morning to get some heat and press enter but nothing happens. Usually the heater finally decides to come on around lunchtime or later each day but it leaves us in the cold each morning.

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. Please give me a positive rating. Thank you.

SOURCE: Will not turn on after a blackout

Check your breaker box. Also, check your receptacle. Some have a reset button at the receptacle. GFI Ground fault Interrupt receptacles are code for basements.

Bonaire Vulcan controller cct board 10 amp fuse keeps blowing

Obviously a direct short. Take pic, remove all wires, replace fuse. Wire by wire, turning power back on each time until fuse pops. When it does, there's your problem.

Bonaire vulcan comfort control

No it cant really be fitted as the evap system uses much larger duct and also in some cases people use a different type of duct that when running a gas heater threw it it tends to melt with the heat. Your best option would be to get new ducting that way you can size it correctly so you dont have air alance issues down the track.

Vulcan ducted heating system 530 E (5 years old) have replaced AAA batteries on remote control but still not working. Thanks Michael

You have to recode the remote to the heater if the batteries have been removed for more than 3 minutes. On the comfort control will the remote is in a off state turn the heater off at the power.

While off press and hold the up button and the on/off until code appears then release buttons and turn the power back on to the heater.

When code disappears from the remote turn on the remote set the temp higher than current temp and combustion fan should start up then heater will fire up.

If not repeat process as they are easily corrupted by other remotes.

Download control manual from - http://www.bonaire.com.au/support/documentation/owner/default.aspx

Set / check fan speed or it may overheat.
