My funcam model DMVC300K won't work with windows 7. Driver not installed, and i have the cd that came with the camera. Help

Took from the FAQ on Phillips support page

At the time this webcam was designed, Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems did not exist yet.
Unfortunately, the internal hardware of the webcam does not match the requirements of these operating systems.
Therefore we cannot provide a software upgrade (driver upgrade) to support Windows Vista or Windows 7.
We apologize that we are not able to support you in this matter.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Driver installed After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Does the Phillips Fun Cam work on Vista?

The camera is only supported by Windows 2000, XP, ME & 98.

windows compatibility.
I tried instaling the driver through that, but dint work...

FunCam and Windows Vista

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. I tried to download a driver for Vista from Philip's website and was told that this is an old product, therefor they will not make a new driver. This means we have to throw away the webcam as we cant throw away vista
