Hello, I have a Bush TV 2038TSIL which I want to start using as a second TV. Since the TV hasnt been used for a while I'll need to do the tuning again. Can this only be done with the remote control or can it be done on the TV itself as well? The remote is nowhere to be seen so I'm asking this before I purchase a new remote control? Thank you! Best regards, Xander

Hi
If there is a "Menu" button on the front panel of your TV, you can enter into its menu; surf trough and come towards tuning option. If there is no such button on the front panel of your TV, you have to buy one universal remote control to work with it. Be sure that buying new remote have setup codes for Bush TV. There are very rare remote models have setup codes for Bush Tv. Look at its manual before buying it. OK.

Have just retuned digital terrestrial receiver Matsui DTR -2 for our area, how do I now record tv programmes with my Bush VCR925NSILXI? On analogue TV the recording channel was Channel 9

Recording, amazingly, has nothing to do with your TV, it only monitors the playback or recording input of your VCR or DVD recorder - the Channel 9 you mention.
They have their own tuners, indeed DVD recorders have Freeview (or DTV) tuners so no need for a separate box at all - given that your TV has a DTV tuner too and if a recent flat screen type it will.
If you can afford it, this is a good time to drop VHS and get a DVD recorder. You'll find plenty on Amazon Electronics for a start.
Your Bush VCR will be redundant the moment the analogue service goes off, they haven't made a VHS VCR with a DTV tuner.
Depending on your area this is a few months off, even for the last area to change over anyway, here in London there's just shy of nine months left.

Rca HD61LPW42 -- we just replaced the color wheel. now we get a picture but only for a few seconds. then it turns off and after a few seconds restarts. this goes on indefinitely. a couple of times...

Hello

If the power light blinks slowly,

you've tried to turn on the TV during

the lamp cooldown cycle. Wait

approximately 30 seconds, and the TV
will turn on automatically.

If light blinks, pauses for about a

minute, and blinks again: the lamp is

trying to turn on (TV will turn on

when successful). If TV doesn't turn

on and sequence continues, the lamp also
needs to be replaced.

To order lamp call 1-800-338-0376.

Have your TV serial number

and lamp type available (you'll

find this information on the

sticker that's on the right side of
the TV).
OK.

I have lost the remote for my bush 2038TSIL so I cant access av is there any way to do it from the tv?

If you use an "all pins connected" scart lead from your sat box or DVD player, the TV should auto switch to AV.
Hope that helps
