Lost remote control for a portable combi television 14pt6107/05 phillips

We have lost the remote control for our television we have brought a univeral remote control and we have tried all the codes in the hand book that came with the remote, none of them work on the dvd part of the television. Can you help

I have a phillips 42 inch plasma televison and i cannot get any remote control to work on it, i broke the origial control a hwhile ago and replaced with a univeral control which set up fine, after a few...

it may have a problem within the tv itself not on the remote control. its problem maybe in the system control i.c that control the infrared remote receiver
