Why can't my pandigital picture frame play my movie all the way through?

Does this happen with all movies or with one particular movie?
It could be that the movie file is broken or incomplete.
You could test the file on a different computer, but bear in mind that some movie players can be more indulgent with problematic movie files than others.
Personally I have several movies that play excellent with the well-known VLC Media Player, but will consistently fail using other media player software.
I hope this helps.

Then, continue to use Windows Media Player.

Or, tell us what alternative program that you use that gives "sound-and-no-picture" or "picture-and-no-sound".
What version of that program?
Windows XP? Vista? 7?
Any more "possibly-relevant" details ?

Playing the V3 movie files on media player?

The problem seems to be in the Media Player (or Windows) itself. I have V3 too and have no problems with playing the shot movies. The movies are in a standard AVI format which is usually recognized my Media Player. You may need to re-install all you codecs or even Windows ;-(

Playback movie pictures or sound

Movie pictures can be played back with the camera, but not sound. However, when the camera is connected to a TV, both movie pictures and sound can be played back. For playing back movie pictures or sound on a PC, the QuickTime™ 4 is required.
