You need to consult the manual, there are multiple printout formats on this machine and it appears that it is looking for data for a print out formation and when it finds none, it skips and then prints again.

How do I calibrate a MAC 1200 EKG machine?

First thing is first.

Hook your ekg machine up to simulator. Run an ekg using the simulator as a patient's heart. If you get a clean 12 lead printout with the interpretation reading "normal sinus rhythm" then I doubt that you need a calibration. If you get something else, I will need to know what it is that you got. there is no true "calibration." If there are issues, they are addressed. Otherwise, you are good to go. Keep me posted,

My Fukuda cardimax fx-7102 sometimes have grounded electrodes and does not print very well. The printout is very thick which almost cover the whole paper. It does not also function when using the battery...

hi,
You have to check the battery of you machine. it is recommended that you have to take ECG with battery backup. you should use AC line only for charging the battery. When you take ECG when the machine is plugged in to the AC you should provide good grounding to your machine. there will be provision for grounding in your machine. when you use the Ac line and if the grounding is not proper then the machine will print AC interference with ecg. that's why the printout come thick. Try to change the battery for better ECG print out.

No ink on paper with printout, alignment or clean cartridge.

paper is either upside down or you have a bad ccd or you have a bad main board

reset the machine... copy and then print

flip paper upside down and copy then print

check fuser if it is cold after print... if it is cold then bad fuser... if it is warm then bad main board or ccd

if you get printouts but no copies bad ccd

if you cann't get copies and no printouts after all these tests then bad printboard or main board

Lower half or EKG would not print properly

You should purchase a printer kit. This is a common problem I have encoutntered on this machine and this machine is identical to the Seca CT6I. I have ordered the printer kit from Seca in the UK, the part number is 9740490024 at a cost of £70. It is a straightforward repair.

Magenta horizontal banding on all color printout

I suggest that if your machine is under warranty you call out HP, as I have heard that they don't support these machines with parts therefore you will get a new machine.
