if you can restart and access start window and settings. suggest you reset program with a previous saved update. could be a faulty update causing the problem. updates are a right pain in the posterior at times. save any work before starting an update that was working .

best suggestion i have , experience taught me with time wasting easier to reloadcpast window

I'm sure he has took standard repair procedures of eliminating "OPERATOR ERROR'. Now to get technical. In a hospital setting the fastest repair to a medical device is the 'Board Walk'. Use a working unit and CAREFULLY ( power unit down, GND yourself to both units, disconnect AC power, ect.) swap modules between units to isolate malfunction. In the old days we would check for possible bad component on the module. This can apply to the mechanic modules as well. I advise to look into Mgrs. for jobs.

Does it keep losing the date when you turn it off? or are you asking how to set the time and date?

If you're losing time and date when you turn the unit off, there's a coin cell battery on the main processor board that needs replacing.

If you just want to set the time and date - Press "SHIFT" and 12 lead keys at the same time. select "7" for date and time, use the return key to select date or time

Check your RL (green) lead or trunk cable.

Right leg is the ground so (if it's bad) you won't get a QRS complex.

I would reset the machine to factory defaults. Leads to be printed can be manipulated but the factory setting is to print a full 12 lead.

settings-> system setup-> restore defaults-> yes -> hit start until you are back at the main screen and hit print again ( to get a print out)
