Turn radio on and unplug speakers one at a time if the problem goes away once you unplug a particular speaker, then there lies the problem. it sounds like you have a short. Unplug the rca's going to your amp one at a time also.
unplug the rcas when?
have the radio on when performing these steps. You want to make sure that when your listening to the radio when ever you unplug a speaker wire or an rca, that the problem goes away. Then that will tell you or give you an idea where the problem is located. Don't rule out the amp as a culprit as well.
that didnt help...now whenever i use my turn signals my bass hits once? i think my whole electrical system is shot?
Disconnect the door speakers at the harness and leave the 3 wires that power on the radio and don't disconnect the remote wire to your amp(also verify the correct remote wire is used, one is for antenna), therefor eliminating the cars speaker electrical system. All you will have is the subs, but you're just troubleshooting a short so when you turn it on and the speakers pop when you use the turn signal or the brakes, then your rca's may have a short. Note, disconnect the ground from the radio and make sure you connect it straight to chassis ground(a piece of metal on the vehicle that's connected to the cars chassis) . We are trying to get rid of all the variables by using process of elimination. If the problem goes away then there is a short in the cars electrical system.
