Mecha error
Mecha error is a Mechanical Error. This means that this is an actual physical malfunction of the unit. Sometimes pressing the reset button can realign some of the mechanics but most often this is a problem that requires to be serviced.

When i turn my truck
sounds like the yellow wire is not going to a constant power source. the yellow wire controls the memory and needs to go to a sources that always gets voltage

Stuck on standby mode

I need a unlock code
Hi,
If you Do Not Have the Correct Code, you will have to call or E-Mail Kenwood Support & Re-Register the Unit. It is for Security & Theft.
They should supply you with a Unlock Code specific to the Units I.D. Number.

Hi,
We really appreciate you Business but there are no HACKS for the same. You need to take the car to the dealer. They would verify the information, to make sure you are the owner and then they would unlock the Code. I could tell you the procedure to Unlock the Code, if you have the Code. However, if you do not have the code, you need to take the car to the dealer.
Usually, you could check the manual or the check list offered to you.

What is it doing or not doing? Is it turning on? Not getting noise? Not insertingi/ejecting cd's?

You will have to contact Kenwood to get the code. Be prepared to answer a few questions such as the model number the serial number, etc.
If it checks out with their records as being yours, they'll give you a number. If not, look for the cops to be knocking at your door.
