Remove time date picture

Try to use menu and settings. Also, date stamp can be used only in very low resolution images, change your image resolution and quality back to this large/superfine setting. And you can find the information related to date stamp in user guides. Look for them here Canon Camera user guides and owners manual

How can I get the date to appear on my pictures for downloading ?Canon ixus 75

On my Ixus 70, I can only "embed" the date on pictures when "Postcard Mode" is selected. Press "Func/Set", go down to the bottom icon on the left (sets picture size) then go right to "Postcard" (looks like mountains, will say Postcard when selected) then press Func/set button again. Now press "Menu", scroll down to "Date stamp" and set it to "Date" and press "Menu" button again.

Once embedded, the date cannot be removed later.

The date and time can be included on the pictures taken only with the camera in postcard mode. You must also activate the date stamp option in the menu.
To set the camera into postcard mode, press the [Func.] button on the camera, then use the [arrow down] key to go down to the last option in the menu, and there you can choose the [Postcard mode]. Press [Func.] again to exit the function menu.

Hi how can i turn on date stamp on my canon ixus

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
