The passlock system is a known problem for GM's vehicles. It has been immobilizing cars since the mid 80's. GM accepts no responsibility for the problem and instead charges you up to a thousand bucks to fix it. I've had great luck by just bypassing the entire system. Once you've done this, you will never have to worry about this failed system again. Copy and paste this link into your browser. This site explains the problem, shows pictures of the failing parts, along with ways to beat this problem forever at a far cheaper cost than a dealer. Why replace a failed system with more failing parts? I've personally done these bypasses dozens of times. If its on this site, it WILL work. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

How do i bypass pass lock on 2002 saturn vue

This is a very common problem on GM vehicles. The security system is known to fail. Basically when you insert your key, the system checks for certain signal. If the system cannot get the correct signal from the key, it assumes the key is incorrect and goes into SECURITY lockout mode. (prevents hotwiring) This has been happening with GM's for a very long time. There are ways to bypass this now. Read through this page for info, solutions as well.

My power locks dont work and my keyless remote entry is dead will this interupt the pass lock sequience

It shouldn't, they are separate systems. You may need to reprogram the key fob, (If that's what you meant by "keyless") but that can only be done by dealer on that vehicle. If the passlock gives you problems, you can bypass that.

Lock pass system

These need to be checked:

Confirm the latest ignition switch is installed per TSB 04-08-45-005D.

2. Check the BCM PWR fuse.

3. If ok, check all of the door lock and unlock circuits for shorts to ground.

4. If ok, the Body Control Module (BCM) is defective.

Well i my car will fail to start in the morning time i have lready bought two new batterys and its still doing the same thing it will act like iy wants to start and it want after about 20 minutes it will...

My research shows tow area of concern. Oe being the pass lock system malfunctioning. I don't really buy that one. Usually if the pass lock system goes, the ignition won't do anything at all. The other problem area was the ECM, or computer. The dealerships acknowledge there is a problem with the computers, especially in cold weather. If your car has any driveability problems after it starts, then I would suggest getting a new computer. I will find out if the auto parts stores carry this item and get back to you.
