I even spoke to a tech, but aparently he doesn't know much, all he said that my ipod hard drive is fryed..I really don't know what to do..

Put the ipod into disk mode and reset. Hold menu and select button to restart, once it restarts, quickly press and hold the play/pause button and select. It should get you into disk mode, connect to computer then do a factory reset. If this doesn't solve your problem, send it in for repair 'cause you have one fried ipod.

My apple 30GB has sad face /www.apple.com/support/ipod

Hi, you may want to try reset your iPod: 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center. If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
Regards, Peter

Sad face on screen

I just left you another thread. You already left me two unacceptable marks that I don't that are very fair to me. Especially since they were redundant.

Change them around and I might consider.

Keep in mind that repairing an Ipod isn't easy to do. It requires special tools and special parts.

Is that something youre willing to do?

Sad face apears on screen..

Plug your IPod back into ITunes. Eject it again.

If it still happens, plug your Ipod back into Itunes and restore it back to factory settings.

Then the sad face should make you happy once again.
