No key has Fn, which key is function key?

when you look at your keyboard, you should have a FN key that is at the bottom right hand corner that has those two letters in it. it is in between the Ctrl and the Flag key which is also next to the Alt and the Space Bar

Eee pc r101 keyboard not working properly. Some of the keys won't type the correct letters and type the function letter or symbol instead or just random numbers. Also the touch pad and mouse click is...

The keyboard takes a lot of abuse and as durable as it is, they will eventually wear out. It is a very inexpensive part to replace and does not require a lot of skill. The fact that the touch pad is acting up could indicate that they are interconnected. I would replace both. The Touch pad is a more involved part to replace and I would suggest you get some help or pay to have it replaced.

You can order them off of sites like eBay, then watch a YouTube video on how to do it.

Asus netbook type letters it put numbers

This issue is due to you having activated the "Number Lock" function of your keyboard !

To revert to full keybaord function:

Press Fn+NumLock. The numLock shares it's key with Insert

Note: Fn key is the Blue Key at the base left of the Keyboard.

Some of the keys are not functioning properly they are typing numbers instead of letters and the space bar is also typing a number? Please help!!

There is probably a function button on your keyboard. Pressing that button should fix the problem. It might be labeled Fn. (Look near the bottom left of the keyboard.) Best Wishes!

The keyboard is locked. Instead of letters, it gives me numbers

Click Fn+Numlk as this switches your keyboard to the numbers printed in blue. Pressing that combination again, puts the keyboard back to normal. The Fn key will switch the function keys to the designated lower operation, so your F11 key has the NumLk operation controlled by the Fn key

Hi, I've got 2 eeepcs, with identical problems,

When the RH side of the keboard types numbers instead of letters then the Num Lock (number lock) key has been pressed.
Press the Num Lock Key again to return to letters again, usually this is usually done by pressing the Fn key plus and probably the Scroll keys, this key will be also marked NumLk, and there will be a LED light that will indicate when the number lock is on.
