Trying to connect to netflix trhough the wii console and keep getting a message Error code 52031

Error code 209826. Is this with a Wii? Error code references "Problem connecting to the Wii Shop channel. Either a problem with the router or the Wii Shop may be temporarily
down. Try again later."

I recommend turning off the Wii completely. Check the wireless router and unplug the router, but do not disconnect the cable. Keep powered off for 5 minutes. Plug router back in, let all the lights power up and then turn the Wii on and attempt to connect again. Should the issue continue, you may need to go through the Wii network set up and verify that it is communicating with the router.

Error 52031: It's possible that the wireless security pass code for your home network may have been changed or is entered incorrectly on the Wii console.

However if you're using Wi-Fi to connect to the internet, your ISP may be blocking the ports allowing you to use netflix from your WII. You may need to contact you ISP in order to verify this problem.

1. From the Wii's main menu, select the Wii icon along the bottom left of the screen.
2. Select "Wii Settings".
3. Click the left arrow to get to Wii System Settings 3
4. Choose "Wii System Update"

This needs to be repaired.

you can send the console to Nintendo for free if in warranty, if out of warranty then this will cost you around $150, the whole process will take 4-6 weeks
