Magicjack problems

What browser are you using? This message usually means that you have enabled the Private Browsing feature or otherwise disabled cookies. Assuming you do not have a cookie-blocking extension (NoScript in Firefox), follow the directions below for enabling cookies in the common Windows browsers.

For IE (in the desktop for Windows 8) to change the permissions for Cookies: click on the Gear symbol on the line with the URL bar. (Alternatively if you have the Menu toolbar visible (press Alt to get this visible) then click on Tools. Select Internet Options. Go to the Privacy tab and reduce the privacy setting to Medium. Click Apply and then OK and then close your browser and reopen it. Then go to the MagicJack site. If that doesn't work, check if the Tracking Protection is enabled. Click on the Gear and then Safety. Go to turn on Tracking Protection. In the new window, check if MagicJack is listed. (The key sequence <Control>+<Shift>+P turns on the Private Browsing feature. It should be disabled when you close and restart the browser.)

In Firefox to change the cookie permissions, click on Tools and select Options. Click on the Privacy icon. In the History section, you need to set that to Custom. Then you can enable or disable cookies. Click OK. Close the Options window then restart your browser. Make sure that Always use Private Browsing is not checked.

For Chrome, click on Menu icon (the icon with three horizontal lines) on the URL bar. Click on Settings and then select the Advanced link. Then under Privacy, click on the Content Settings button. Make sure either of the first two options for cookies are checked. Click Done and restart the browser.

I hope this helps.

Tip on how to solve the loading issue on 'My Family' application

Go to your control panel and select internet options, then select delete browsing history, then select temporary internet files, cookies and history then click ok.
I found that I had a cookie or temporary internet file that was conflicting with My Family appl.
Also I found that when using AOL facebook and My Family it ran much to slow, even tho I am an AOL using I opened my Facebook with Internet Explorer and MY Family ran fast and opened ok once I had clean out all the old temporary internet files. Then I went back to opening Facebook with my AOL.
I hope this helped! It worked for me and I couldn't get anything on MyFamily to load until I did this!

I cant see any message on ym window

The first thing to check is to make sure you have scripting enabled in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is integrated into Yahoo Messenger so things that go wrong with IE can affect Yahoo Messenger. Here is the yahoo help page about that: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...

2) In the Start Menu click on Run. Type, without the quotes, "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and then click OK. Next, repeat the process but this time type in the Run box "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" and click OK. Please note, if you are using Windows Vista temporarily disable the User Account Control (UAC). You can easily turn it back on. On the Control Panel (Category View) choose User Accounts and Family Safety, next choose User Accounts, and then click Turn User Account Control on or off.

3) If the above does not fix your problem and you are using Windows XP, you can update your Windows Script to version 5.7. In my experience helping others, this is the step that has helped the most people. Exit all browser windows and chat programs including Yahoo Messenger before installing. run registry cleaner reginout cleaner to easily fix it

How do I enable family safety service

Services are located in the control panel. Most likely this is where the Family Safety service is located. The easiest way to locate the services is to navigate to Start>Run. Once the dialog opens, type in: services.msc

Now press OK. The services window should open. Look for your service (family safety) inside the list of available services. Once found, right-click it and go to, "properties". Inside this dialog box find the only available drop-down menu selecting the, "Startup type." Change the service to, "Automatic" from within this drop-down menu. Now press, "Apply." Afterward press the, "Start" button (within the service window) to start the family safety service. After the service starts, press OK to exit the dialog screen.

If for some reason the service won't start, copy the error message and post it here.

Let me know how it turns out or if I can assist you further.

Please try this. First, you should be logged in as administrator. (You probably are logged in as KIDS). Then please go to Start-Control Panel-User Accounts and Family Safety-User Accounts-Parental Controls-KIDS-Allow and Block Specific Programs. There you can choose the programs that can be used by users logged in as KIDS. This does not apply to the administrator (There are no restrictions.) Hope this helps. Thank you.
