You'll need 4 connections total. On my integrated amp, I connected the four connections to all Line In and Line Out ports. And the other ends into the tape 2/EXTRA ports respectively.
Any of the Audio INs on the rear that you're not already using would work. Just select whichever Audio IN you connect to as the Source when you want to listen to your Ipod (Tape, Turntable etc).
Make sure you keep the volume turned down on you Ipod as this is pre-amplified and could blow your receivers amplifier if both volumes are set too high.
According to my Technics SA-R210 manual to UNMUTE without the remote....do the following......PRESS BOTH THE VOL UP & DOWN CONTROLS & THE LOUDNESS SWITCH ON THE UNIT AT THE SAME TIME......Not sure it will work for your model but that is what it shows for The Technics SA-R210 model, so it should be pretty much the same
TV is not customarily a sound source. It is a video destination. Get your TV-related audio to the receiver from the same places the TV gets it - each source device's audio outputs.
