I have a palmone treo 600 smartphone when i bought it i had a windows XP computer, i was able to transfer my addresses ans notes onto my computer in seconds. now i have a vista home edition conputer and it just in not compatible, i have tried dozems of ways to sync my info. from my phone onto my computer to no advail. i have downloaded win414en and many others nothing works.

This phone is incompatible with Vista or 7 - there is nothing that can be done about that. But you can do something else - you install XP Mode in Vista and your phone in there.

When the first screen flashes, as the bar is loading, hold up. Let go once the bar finishes. If that doesn't work you may need to hard reset. Just google how to give it a hard reset and remember that you will lose everything that isn't backed up if you do.

Yes the 3rd party software can cause your phone to do crazy things...try to isolate the program causing the problem. also under hotsyc settings you can turn off the palm contact list and change to using Agendus as your default contact and calender on your phone and that should stop the conflict...hope this helps

try to do the hotsnycing method. data should be transfered frist onto the computer then use a card reader/writer to transfer the data.

Contact list to memory stick

Instead of loading all of your contracts onto your memory stick, why don't you connect your treo to your computer and ActiveSync all your contacts to Outlook, and when you get your new phone, and just have to ActiveSync again and all your contacts will be there. Hope this helps.
