If you cant remember the hdd password then you only have two options, contact toshiba (who will charge about £60 GBP) or buy a new hard drive and then reinstall windows on it

The password isnt stored on the Hard Drive, different HD still wont work, but you can pull the cmos batt and wait a few min and itll reset, i believe there is also a intentional short location you can stick a screwdriver to wipe it too.

Entered built in HDD1 user password

Hello

as the bios was reset the harddrive password was removed from the bios memory.

To get the password unlocked you will need to remove the harddrive from the laptop, buy a adapter so you can connect it to your pc and then do a few things Il tell you about later if your going to do it.

otherwice you can take the harddrive to a shop to be unlocked / reset to defaults.

I have a 215-s4767 when i turn it on it says to enter built in hdd1 user password

Did you receive this laptop from someone else, as the owner of the laptop should have the password.

If this isn't an option, try contacting Toshiba support directly.

If all else fails, you may have to replace the hard drive, as these passwords are hard to crack, unless you send your laptop to a professional data recovery expert.

Turned on laptop and message? appeared: Please Enter Built-in HDD1 User Password [ ]

Hard drive password security has been enabled. If you do not know who did it or what the password is you are limited in options. Most times this requires a new hard drive and OS.
