On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, Microsoft releases a free tool to address virus infections. The tool is called Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. It is usually downloaded in an infected computer's hard drive but if this cannot be done, the tool can be loaded into a USB stick or thumbdrive on another computer then inserted into the infected computer's USB port to be run.
