Hotpoint refrigerator sounds like a high pitched siren

TRY AND LISTEN TO UR COMPRESSOR SEE IF U HEAR ANNYTHING THERE? IF NOT CHECK UR COMPRESSOR CONDENSOR FAN AND FREEZER EVAPORATOR FAN FOR BLOCKAGE OR OBSTRUCTIONS? OR POSSIBLY 1 OF THE FANS MOTOR IS GOING OUT MAKING FUNNY SOUNDS, ANOTHER THING COULD BE A BAD DOOR SEAL ISSUES WHICH OVERWORKS THE COMPRESSOR AND CAN CAUSE IT TO MAKE FUNNY NOISES

ANY TIME YOU HAVE SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR IT ALWAYS RECOMMANDED TO HAVE LEVEL FLOOR AND YOU MOST SET UP THE BOTTOM ADJUSTEMENT SO THE REFRIDG CAN BE LEVREL AND STABLE WHILE RUNING.

change the rubber isolating washers on the pump and compessor too hard a compound will make things worse ,neoprene works best ......

Sounds like the fan from the freezer that blows the cold air into the refrigerator is noisy. It either needs replacement, or lubrication. Good Luck, I hope this helped Please rate me, Thanks

the bearings in the motor are going bad. you probably need a new fan motor.

sounds like a defective door ajar switch or a defective seat belt switch.

Your whining noise could be many things...

I am not posotive, but it sounds like you may have a piece of debris stuck in the fan underneath. You can check if you pull it out from the wall, make sure you unplug it as to not have the fan come on while you are toying. But thats what it sounds like. If that is not it, I am sure you could locate the noise with it pulled out from the wall, and go from there, Possibly your compressor, but sounds like the fan the way you're explaining it. Good luck

The high pitched sound could be from the evap fan motor. If you can get to it a drop of silicon oil would solve the problem.
