Magix edit pro 15 plus download version - the paths to the media file are inconsistent - i get this error message many times after loading an existing movie on another somuter than the one where it has been made with- operating system windows 7 is th same,, magix too. computer images are ok but the sound is partially gone what to do please ? thank you [email protected] antwerpen, belgium

update drivers and check dll issues. update the drivers like .net frame work adobe flash player etc.

Maybe a file in the usual program or configuration directory was locked by another program (e.g. antivirus scans) when you were removing the old edition of Magix Edit Pro; that would leave directories like /Programs/Magix and /Data/Programs/Magix and possibly registry entries (call up RegEdit and delete (or export and then delete) the old items pertaining to Magix or EditPro) around blocking 17 from coming in. Just rename those vestigial directories so they won't be in the install's way. Then retry and report...success?

2. Scroll down a bit to "Answers (2)" - a user called ralftaro provides a link (blue text) to the
English manual - click on the link.
3. In the "Magix Download" window, enter the displayed code in the slot provided and click on
"Download" underneath.
4. New text appears. Click on the word "here".
5. A "File download" window appears. Click on "Save". When the "Save As" window appears,
choose the destination you want the file to be saved in.
6. Click on "Save". The document will be saved as an Adobe document (pdf format). You can now
access it at the destination you indicated.

If you installed from the CD there should be a directory in the installed files called manual
It should be located in C--> Program Files

This Magix Movie Edit series were made to run on Windows 7 systems too. So probably your license key was released for your previous computer ONLY. On the list of compatible MAGIX products (for Windows 7) are mentioned just:

So your MAGIX Movie Edit 12 is not included.

I have the exact same problem. Every .mod file I import has no sound in MEP15 in edit mode. They play fine on my video camera. I can convert them to .mpeg and they play fine in windows media player.
