Close the program, then start it again with your project. Go directly to edit mode. Immediately remove the last clip (the audio and video) then save the project. Do not do other operations. Exit the program, and start it again. Try working with the project up to that point. If you still have a problem, try this out. Load your project and while it's on the time line slide the red start marker across the files, when you hit the bad one it should give you an error. Also clean out all the files MEP creates in the folders where you have your video/audio/pix files. Then reboot and start again after you remove the bad file

The Magix licence agreement specifies that the software is licensed for use on one computer. With the serial number provided you can activate the software up to three times before a new key must be generated. This is for installation on one PC. To install it on a different PC it must be uninstalled from the first one. If the key has been used three times and no longer works to activate the software a new key can be requested upon request.

If you are playing Divx movies or Avi or other similar formats into a DVD player with Avi/Divx format, please remember that most DVD player, even with Divx function, will not play all files downloadable from the Intermet, because many of the codec used in compression will not be built in into the DVD player.

Many video clip are simply incompatible because of the coded used and cannot be played.

The only way to play them is using a video converter on computer to get rid of the codecs. Converting from one format to the other will get rid of incompatible codecs.

Here a free converter: AVS Video Converter

You have to import the DVD, after you have click on the start page to create a new movie. In the workspace area, you will see the drives on your computer. Select the DVD drive and it should show the files on the DVD disc. Then import them into the work area. You can then drag the files to the timeline area.
