Hopefully I can find a definite solution to this problem. I just wasted
hours searching and reading through past discussions but all have the
same end - NOT SOLVED.
It just happened last week. Whenever I open Google Chrome this appears:

If you are able to access other websites than your Internet connection is fine and eventually Google will once again appear after they sort out their temporary server problem.
It sounds like your internet connection is down, can you view any other websites? Try visiting a random link from google, otherwise you may be viewing pages already stored on your computer.

This is a technical issue with the Facebook Farmville app. There is most likely nothing you can do until facebook fixes the problem. The error appears to indicate the app or components of the app are missing. You'll have to wait until Facebook fixes the problem.
