Sampo PME - S7: Screen is blurry when using as monitor....but looks good when i play a movie on the pc

Serial ports are not meant for video only data communications if it is VGA port then your fine but the red white and yellow RCA connections are what you should be using this cable can be picked up at any local radio shack or walmart pretty cheap. As for the computer if the tv has a vga port connect it by that these vga are also cheap and can be found at radio shack or staples.

This can occur due to many reasons...the simplest of those is...
Damaged monitor signal cable...results in improper signal transmission
Also check if ths is a problem with the monitor or VGA card...Just connect it to another computer...If it works then its VGA card problem otherwise its a monitor problem.If you are good in electronics then the problem is
1)You have the typical convergence failure of the convergence correction IC's which need to be replaced

2)Cpacitors on the CRT are damaged and need to be replaced..

If you are not familiar with electronics pls dont attempt a repair as it is a high voltage device and the risk of electric shock wil be high.Just drop into a service center if this is the case

Open it up and look at the capacitors. The round "tin can" looking components. If the tops appear bulged, then replacing them may help. Check out the YouTube video... and web site...

1. Your PC specs won't change the quality of pics/videos when you burn them to DVD.
2.What are you using to burn these to DVD, software, settings ect.
3.There may be a difference between your monitor, and if your watching the dvd on a TV. Im guessing perhaps it looks good on screen and is streching to fit on fullscreen TV thus making it blurry.

Try using a DVD player with Progressive Scan, it might work fine. I don't know what the problem can be but that's the only way I can see anything.

A digitalizing picture is most likly a bad connection on a screen driver cable or the driver itself is intermittant or the power supply has an intermittant filter on the substain B+ line. hope this hellps.
