My hp officejet 6310 all in one is off line and i have lost the disc to reconnect it back to my computer

How do i hook my computer up to my HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One printer?

You'll have to get a usb cable and physically connect the hp officejet 6310 printer to the computer and boot up the computer while the printer is plugged in and on.

You may have to download the drivers for the printer from the hp.com website. Enter the model # of the printer in the search or query line on the hp.com website to find the drivers.

Unable to check cartridge ink level on new computer.

i think the problem is on that software.pls check the software cd or DVd. if it is fully compatible with windows vista.

Master Reset

I don't have a 6310 but I do have 4 printers one of which is a 5610. I never bothered w/ a reset switch because I would just turn the printer off, then unplug everying for 2min. Then I would reconnect everything back. If it doesn't work, I suggest you uninstall the software and reinstall it again. Let me know if this helps.

HP Officejet 6310

If you have set up your printer on a wireless network, you will need to open up some ports on your router in order to get the scan feature to work. I could only print and not scan. I went to HP's support site and they gave me the list of ports to open -- of course they don't tell you how to do that. Everything works fine now. If that's your problem, post another thread with the router ID and hopefully we can figure it out. Hope this helps.
