All food items come out as is after I place it in the microwave and try to heat it for 30 secs to 1 min.
Tried changing Power Levels as well but no luck.
Any idea what could be wrong?
thanks
I had the same problem with mine, and discovered, somehow, that when I manually turned on the "vent fan", the microwave worked fine. A bit of a pain, but it heated up the food when it hadn't been prior to the vent fan being on. Can't understand why it solved it, but it's been working like that for about a year now. When I forget to turn on the vent fan though, the food is just as cold as when I put it in.
Check high voltage section , check wiring of magnetron.

Ours just developed the same problem - called repairman and they believe it to be the magnetron - which on some models has a 5 year warranty - they will come check it out later this week. Labor is projected to be $120-150 - certainly better than the price of a new replacement.
I have the same problem, food comes out as cold as it went in. Clock works, fan works, inside light works, but it doesn't heat anything up.....5 yr. warranty was just up in June !!!! =(
I have the same problem, lights work, fan work, clock works but the
microwave will not heat any food. Damn microwave is not even 3 years old.
GE profile is supposed to be a reputable product.
Makes no sens to call for repair on a part that is covered for 15 years but the service call will be more than the microwave current value!!!
No more GE products for me. I am done.....
The turnable on our microwave was not working and we had it fixed by GE for $175. This was 10 days ago. Last night it stopped heating.
This JVM1870SF02 is only 4 yrs old. We were living with the turntable out for over a year but we had CE in to fix the refrig-freezer humming noise (needed new motherboard) so we had them fix the turntable.
It seems strange that after putting in a new motor for the turntable the heating stops.
We will never buy any GE product again.
