How do i remove my spacesaver coffee maker from my rv

Is it fastened at the top?
If not it could be glued down on the surface so it does not move.
If the microwave is fastened below it, they could have fastened the coffee maker first and then the microwave below it. Remove the microwave and have a look when it is removed.

remove-ge-spacemaker-800x800.jpgRemove a GE Spacemaker
The GE Spacemaker series of microwave ovens are designed to be installed above an oven range, freeing up counter space in your kitchen. Some of these Spacemaker models are connected to an outside venting system to carry kitchen vapor and odors outside. Other Spacemaker models utilize a ductless system to do this. Removing a GE Spacemaker microwave oven isn't a difficult task, but, because of the size of some of the oven models, it is a two-man operation. Have a question? Things You'll Need

  • Assistant
  • Sharp knife
  • Phillips screwdriver
Instructions
    • 1 Open the cabinet above where the Spacemaker microwave oven is installed. If you see a vent in the cabinet leading to the Spacemaker oven below, your Spacemaker is vented. This vent needs to be disconnected before continuing with removal. Disconnect the vent either by loosening the duct clamps or by cutting the duct tape away with a sharp knife. Pull the vent out of the top of the oven.
    • 2 Have an assistant support the oven from below. Loosen the mounting screws connected to the Spacemaker through the cabinet bottom. Loosen the screws by turning counterclockwise with the Phillips screwdriver.
    • 3 Unplug the Spacemaker from the socket in the cabinet.
    • 4 Continue loosening the screws while your assistant holds the oven in place. Once the screws are removed, have your assistant slowly lower the Spacemaker down by lowering the front face at a 45-degree angle.
    • 5 Feed the power cable for the Spacemaker through the hole in the bottom in the supporting cabinet.
    • 6 Help your assistant slowly pull the Spacemaker forward and out of the mounting brackets on the rear wall. Once the Spacemaker is cleared of the mounting cabinet and rear wall, set it down.
    • 7 Remove the mounting bracket from the rear wall by loosening the screws.

Instalation Instructions for Frigidaire Over the Range Microwave 850 Watt Model #FMT118EPB

HI,

Frigidaire makes several over-the-range microwave models that are all installed in the same manner. To install correctly, you must have at least 45 1/2 inches from the bottom of the top cabinet to the cooking surface of the stove to provide enough clearance for the microwave. The top cabinet must also be at least 30 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Find someone to help you, then follow the steps below to install your Frigidaire microwave.

Things You'll Need:
  • Stud finder or hammer
  • Screwdriver
  • Drill
Instructions

Pull your range away from the wall so you can work comfortably. If this is not possible, cover it with a drop cloth. Find and mark the locations of the studs in the wall behind the range. They will be either 16 or 24 inches apart.

Follow the instructions on the wall template to mark the location of the mounting bracket and the four anchor holes on the wall and the bottom of the cabinet. Drill the anchor holes. Follow the instructions on the top cabinet template to mark and drill the two holes in the bottom of the cabinet.

Attach the mounting bracket to the wall studs using the six wood screws included with your microwave. Screw the toggle nuts onto the toggle bolts and push one through each of the four drilled holes. Screw each toggle bolt until the nut is snug against the inside of the wall.
Pick up the oven with your helper. Plug the oven into the outlet and slide the oven onto the mounting bracket arms. Push the oven back against the wall. Tighten the two screws on the microwave faceplate to fasten the microwave to the mounting bracket arms.
Attach the louver to the top of the microwave with the three provided screws. Insert the two top cabinet screws and washers from the top cabinet into the microwave and fasten tightly.

Take care.

Remove a whirlpool over the range microwave oven

Jim here. In cabinet above microwave, locate 2 mounting bolts.
Place a box on the stove top to support the microwave once the mounting bolts are removed (you may wish to cover the box with a thick towel or small throw rug).
Procedure:
1. Unplug microwave.
2. Remove both mounting bolts from top of microwave (they secure it to the overhead cabinet).
3. With microwave front angled down onto box, pull some of power cord out of hole (to provide some moving space).
4. With microwave hand supported, remove box from stove top (a second set of hands would be helpful here).
5. HARD PART- detach top of microwave back from wall mounting plate by placing a hand under the bottom rear of the microwave and pushing up. (Wall mounting plate is screwed into the wall behind the microwave and provides both top and bottom support to the back of the microwave.)
6. Lower front of microwave until you can see about a 1-inch clearance between the top-rear of the microwave and the cabinet above it.
7. Firmly lift the microwave straight up and then bring forward. It should be free of the wall mounting plate.

What size are t top mounting screws on the GE JVM1350 spacesave

You may be looking for the philips flat head 1/4 x 28 tpi (threads per inch) threaded bolt that is about 4" long. The tip of the bolt does not have threads, which aids in locating the threaded hole in the top of the microwave:

General Electric's part number for their OTR microwave cabinet mounting screw is WB01X10180 (or AP3205964 or 942461 as listed on some repair parts sites).

A set of three is GE's p/n WB01X10125 (or AP3185225 or 910236 as listed on some repair parts sites).

This flathead screw is used on most Advantium Speedcook microwave ovens such as the SCA2001BSS03 or SCA2000FWW03 or SCA2001KSS03.

Here's a picture of three screws:

NEED TO REMOVE WALL MOUNTED GE JVM1190BY002 MICROWAVE

I also have a JVM1190 and was baffled as to removal. My very handy brother solved it in two minutes. Above the door and keypad there is a long grill secured by two small squarehead (Robertson) screws. Remove the screws and grill and you will see on either side of the opening a long bolt. They go through to the back of the microwave where the support plate attached to the wall. The bolts have a slot in the middle for a flat blade screwdriver. Simply turn the bolt to release from the back plate. Make sure there is a helper underneath as the microwave is fairly heavy. Do the reverse for re-installation.

1985 GE Microwave Spacesaver Uninstall

A possible solution:
I was facing the same problem with my (1998?) GE JVM48006. In this models case, the microwave was housed in a support cabinet that was fastened to the wall behind. First, I removed the phillips head screws behind the louvered vent above the microwave. Then, I removed the screws of the slanted bottom panel that give access to servicing the stove top lights (underneath the unit) which were integrated into the support cabinet (separate from the microwave itself). On the right side was an electrical wire harness hidden behind a cover that had to be unplugged (similar to a car wiring harness). Then, I removed (4) 5.1/2 inch hex head bolts that secured the unit through the cabinet above. Now I was able to slide the microwave out towards the front (with some rocking back and forth). All that was left then was to remove the support housing (fastened to the back wall).
