have you tried hard restart on the box, pulling power lead whilst turned on , wait a couple of minutes then plug power lead back in

You'll need to contact Humax directly.

Find the address and mail it back but it must be in original box

Go into Factory reset, but before check if your system download is up to date, ( in menu )

From ite main Menu, come to "Edit Channels" window and select the third option 'Software Update" and 'OK".
# When there is no new software to update, a popup will appear
# Software updates for products will be detected using the Automatic Update option

OTA - Over the Air Software Updates will be broadcast via satellite for the product when new updates are

available. Humax reserves the right for deciding when the software updates will be released.
Follow below to ensure that you receive the OTA Software Updates when they are released:

1* You are connected to a suitable satellite dish and are receiving the all of the freesat service.

2* The signal strength and quality are at a high level; if you are experiencing problems with the signal

then please do not continue with the download.

3* The product is in Standby mode each night allowing it to detect, download, and install the updates
when broadcast

You should use a good quality RG9 or RG59U coaxial cable, You can get this at Wal Mart, or Radio Shack. Also use good quality F connectors and dress the wires properly.

I believe that the Humax can only output 1 channel and because it has no built in hdd and twin channel capabilty that is all you can record 1 channel (unlike sky +/sky HD) so that means also that unless you watch a different source (like the picture from your aerial (terrestial channels)) you are stuck with having to watch the channel you record
