When I press the power button on my Sanyo DP32746 I can hear the power relay pull in. After 10 seconds the relay drops out. During the 10 seconds the relay is in, there is no picture (screen stays dark) or sound. After attempting to power up the set 3 or 4 times the relay stops pulling in all together. If I unplug the set for a few minutes and plug it back in I can get the relay to pull in again for 10 seconds. I realize the relay is dropping out as a protective measure. Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it? Is there a particular module that I can replace to get the set working again?

Damage is in the power supply. I am an authorized tech for Sanyo, and in the Chattanooga TN
area. Contact Sanyo at 1-800-877-5036. At the prompt hit the 0 key, and
then ask for customer service. They will be more then happy to assist. If your set is to old for warranty service, and you wish to repair yourself, check out the site www.shopjimmy.com, they can provide functional pwb's for a fraction of the cost of new.
isolate power from hor.output section.
if voltage becomes normal 130v &it does not drop then power supply is ok.
now check hor output for leaky compnents near eht specially capacitor & diode.
check hor output tr.
at last eht.
you can clean print near eht.
Check the power cable and power socket. If they are working, and the indicator lights in the tv do not light up when connected to power, that means the PSU (Power Supply Unit) is faulty. Take it to a repairer.
